The Holy Trinity Little Rock Scripture Study group was formed in February 2007.

Mission:

Courses available (subject to schedule): Foundation; Early Church Writings; Gospels; Old Testament Writings; Thematic Studies.

Duration of each course: 10 to 12 sessions.

Study materials:
Little Rock Scripture Study offers materials that are simple to use. The questions in the study guide will direct your study, assist you to understand the passages you are reading, and challenge you to relate the Scriptures to your own experiences.

Structure of Study:

The Little Rock Scripture Study comprises of 4 basic essential elements:

1. Daily Personal Study
Questions in the study guide direct the reflection, while the commentary provides solid Catholic scholarship that leads to deeper understanding.

2. Weekly Small Group Sharing
Small groups gather in the parish to share their personal responses to the study questions. Trained facilitators encourage the sharing of the study questions and personal experiences in an atmosphere of openness and confidential trust.

3. Conversational Prayer
The small groups use a four steps simple and effective method of prayer to thank God, to pray for personal needs and the needs of others

4. Wrap-up Lecture
The small groups sharing closes with a video lecture to develop and clarify the themes of the lesson.
